At age six months Axel attained his Trick dog Intermediate, Trick Dog Novice and Canine Good Citizen Titles. Axel is Herding Instincts Tested and loves sheep and has his USBHA title. He is very competitive and extremely biddable. He is also Agility started. Axel loves, frisbees, balls, tricks, swimming and going on backcountry hikes.

Genetically Clear except a carrier for CEA (Embark tested). Pennhip results were not good. Axel has been neutered and removed from breeding. However, his great temperament makes him the perfect surrogate Dad for our pups. He plays a very positive role in the development of our litters!

Eastwillow’s She’s Got A Way (Call Name “JJ”)

Her registered name, oh man, that Billy Joel song tells you everything you need to know! Look up the lyrics and you will know just how much I love this dog! JJ is beautiful to look at and has a temperament to match that outer beauty. She’s smart as a whip and has learned a few tricks simply by observing our other dogs performing those tricks. She was very comfortable around our puppies and served as a nanny to them. Her own pups are calm, confident and resilient.

JJ is a fast athletic dog. she is excellent at frisbee and other catch games. She displays speed and athleticism. She is definitely a sporting prospect. But off switch? Oh yeah, you tell this girl, “that’ll do” and she’s down, relaxing quietly. I

JJ is clear of all genetically tested issues by way of Optimal Selections Wisdom Panel. Her Pennhip DI score is a .41 which is equivalent to an OFA Good. She has her Farm Dog Certification, Temperament Tested title, Canine Good Citizen, BCAT title, Trick Dog Intermediate and Trick Dog Novice. She loves all sorts of physical activity but is prone to play the “thief” when we play pack frisbee. She also love to dance. Yes, I said dance. She is sweet but not shy or soft. She’s as loyal as they come. This dog, as with all our dogs, was selected because of her personality and structure. Her beauty is only an added bonus. We will never sacrifice our standards just to breed good looking pups. Our pups come from healthy, sound and proven parentage.

Coming to us from Haven Creek Farm in the frozen tundra of Michigan there is no more sweeter Border Collie than this guy. He has tested genetically clear on Optimal Selection Wisdom Panel and his hips are an outstanding .38 Distraction index on his PennHip Examination. LaSalle is an extremely quick learner and is very biddable. He seldom barks but he is protective when challenged (talk to me about the wildlife around here).

Shortly after his first birthday and on a single day, LaSalle passed the Canine Good Citizen Test, the Advanced Canine Good Citizen Test, the Farm Dog Certification, Trick Dog Novice and Trick Dog Intermediate. He obtained his BCAT title in November 2023. He’s smart, loyal and handsome. He has tremendous recall and i have tested that recall out to the length of a football field.

He has a medium drive and a great off switch. He’s an incredible sweetie and he loves to snuggle. His first litter of pups were born in November 2023 from our lovely JJ. They were an excellent litter of calm and sociable pups who are making their new families very happy. We are very excited to meet his next litter of pups, from Reagan, this coming Valentine’s Day 2024.
